Het personaliseren (of eigenlijk segmenteren) van content kan de open rates vergroten, zeker wanneer de doelgroep bestaat uit segmenten met uiteenlopende interesses (bijv. 3. Schrijf voor de lezer, niet alleen over jezelf

4. Gebruik plaatjes
Gebruik plaatjes. Uw lezers zijn visueel ingesteld; niemand heeft zin om een grote lap tekst te gaan lezen; maar wel als het aangekleed wordt met een mooi plaatje.
